Folks, we would really like to hear from you to discuss our cruise, your cruise or any other topic. Use the 'DoItCruise' email address for all the attachments, but keep it below 1 Mb. If you get bounced, it probably mean that the mailbox is full and we are at sea, unable to empty it. Replies may be delayed if we are on a long passage or well away from internet cafes, but we will get you messages eventually.
We also have a limited email capability on board 'Do It'. The system uses a different address, if you wish to be able to contact us in mid-Ocean, the address is below. The system is slow as it goes via a radio link so only use it for text, don't send any attachments (pictures, etc) as they won't make it! Use the original email address for all the big stuff. A BIG PLEA. If you should choose to reply, don't hit the 'Reply' button as it includes our previous email which makes it longer to download. Either start a new email or delete what we sent to you (including those words at the end which ask you not to hit the 'Reply' button). Many thanks.
Mobile Phone.
We have a New Zealand mobile phone number. The old number stopped working when we spent over 3 months in Latin America and could not connect, so Vodafone pocketed the £70 of credit on it and said 'Bye Bye'. Texts are the cheap method of contacting us in a hurry when near land. The new number is:
Post.
You can also send us conventional mail. This can be sent direct (email us for a 'Post Restante' address) or it can be sent to our hard working mail forwarder (again, email us for details).
